The Change Failure Factors dashboard helps you predict the outcome of a Change through a set of configured failure factors. The failure factor values of closed unsuccessful changes enable you to identify the possible causes for a failure, thereby, helping you plan for a successful implementation.
The Change Failure Prediction Failure Factors dashboard help Change Executives answer the following business questions:
The Change Failure Factors dashboard consists of the following pages:
You can use the filters in the dashboard to analyze changes related to Departments, specific Assignment Group Manager Level 1, Primary CI Class, Primary CI, or Change Failure Flag.
Important: In the Change Failure Flag filter, the N flag includes all successful changes, the Y flag includes all unsuccessful changes, and the X flag includes all changes neither successful or unsuccessful. By default, the dashboard is set to include Y and N flags to portray explicit information.
The CFP Failure Factors page enables you to view and monitor the outcome a change through graph, KPIs and top eight failure factors that are determined by the Change Failure Prediction ML model.
The CFP Failure Factors page consists of the following sections:
The failure factor values are displayed in a tabular format and include the number of closed changes and the failure rate across each failure factor value. The colors of the failure rate represent the threshold values configured. All the grids of failure factors are sorted based on the Risk Factor value in ascending order from the top left.
The threshold colors for failure rate are configured as follows:
Note: These failure factors are dynamically fetched depending on the deployed Change Failure Prediction ML model. The factors are based on the list of predictor variables or failure factors that are provided out-of-the-box and can be configured to suit your business needs.
On the bottom left corner of the dashboard, click CFP Failure Factor Details to navigate to the CFP Failure Factor Details page.
