Change Executive dashboard

The Change Executive dashboard enables you to understand the overall impact, failure rate, failure probability and risk for upcoming changes. This dashboard enables you to take appropriate actions, mitigate risks, improve performance, and reduce the impact of changes.

Using KPIs and metrics, you can analyze the source and nature of the issue, the patterns, and trends in the issue, and the factors that caused the issues. It enables you to take appropriate measures to mitigate the risks that affect the business. You can also view the success rate trend, change impact ratio, and credit score of the teams who are in charge of the change implementation.

You can analyze the overall impact of changes based on Department, Assignment Group Manager Level 1, and Primary CI. You can filter data based on the above criteria to get actionable insights for change-related problems, incidents, outages, and upcoming failure risks. You also get to know the high-level summary of your performance of the change impact and risk in comparison of the average of the overall organization.

Metric Name Description
Change Credit Score- Monthly Effective Credit Score after reducing all the applicable deductions
Change Impact Ratio Displays the ratio of changes that impacted the service in terms of incidents, problems, or outages it caused or due to data quality issue to the total changes executed
Failure Rate CRP Percentage of change request failures
Incidents Caused by Change key > 0 Total number of incidents that have an associated Change item linked to it. This is a configurable metric. Based on your business requirements, the Administrator can configure the initial setup to tailor the metric suitably
Incidents Caused Outside Primary CI Number of incidents that are caused by changes on the Primary CI which is other than the Primary CI where the change was implemented
Incidents Caused Within Primary CI Number of incidents that are caused by changes on the same Primary CI where the change was implemented
Opened Changes CRP Number of change requests opened within a specific time period
Outage Duration (Hours) Period of time for which the outages persisted in hours
Outages Number of outages
Outages Caused By Change and Key >0 Total number of outages caused by change where the Outage ID is greater than 0
Outages Caused Outside Primary CI Number of outages occurred on the Primary CI which is other than the Primary CI where the change was implemented
Outages Caused Within Primary CI Number of outages occurred on the same Primary CI where the change was implemented
Overall Failure Rate Percentage of unsuccessful changes as compared to all the closed changes
Overall Opened Changes Total number of changes that have been opened
Problems Caused by Change Total number of problems that are caused by change implementation
Problems Caused by Change key >0 Problems that are caused due to the change implemented
Problems Caused Outside Primary CI Number of all problems that are caused by changes and impacting the Primary CI that are other than the change implemented Primary CI
